In Friday's league outing, the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) basketball squad edged the host Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV), by a count of 38-31.
The Red Dragons (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Big Reds go into the Mountain State outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, Parkersburg held off Riverside (Belle, WV), 83-37, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now hold a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Nitro for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 13. Cabell Midland will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 74-24 non-league win over Capital (Charleston, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-3.
