In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Devils Lake Firebirds basketball team scored a good 66-52 triumph over the Central Cass Squirrels.
In their next game, the Firebirds meet the Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 10. Devils Lake will attempt to better on its 17-5 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 9-9 record after their 64-59 league loss to Northern Cass (Hunter, ND).
With the defeat, Central Cass moves to 6-14 on the year. The Squirrels travel to Grafton (Grafton, ND) to meet the Spoilers in a non-league match on Monday, February 12. The Spoilers enter the match with a record of 6-15. Grafton lost 61-57 in their recent non-league match against Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND)
