Crowell Wildcats (Crowell, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Perrin-Whitt Pirates (Perrin, TX), 48-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Crowell upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season.

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Perrin-Whitt will attempt to upgrade on its 16-15 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 22-10 record after their 68-27 league win over Prairie Valley (Nocona, TX).
