Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) and the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Davie's basketball squad hold off Parkland by a tally of 66-62.

With the victory, Davie improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The War Eagles host Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to confront the Bobcats in a 4A Central Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-19. Glenn won 42-39 in their recent league challenge against East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 4A Central Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Parkland will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 71-48 league win over Reagan (Pfafftown, NC).
