New Hampshire High School Basketball - Stark topped by Derryfield

The Derryfield Cougars basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Stark Generals to 34 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanover for a Division II contest on Tuesday, February 13. Derryfield will battle a Bears team coming off a 64-36 league loss to Londonderry (Londonderry, NH). The Bears record now stands at 11-8.
The Generals (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH). The The Pride come into the Division II contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Merrimack Valley prevailed over Oyster River (Durham, NH), 67-56, in a league contest.
