Dickson Comets (Ardmore, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lone Grove Longhorns (Lone Grove, OK), 50-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Dickson upgrades its record to 5-15 on the season. The Comets travel to Community Christian (Norman, OK) to clash with the Royals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Community Christian won 74-48 in their recent non-league bout against Heritage Hall (Oklahoma City, OK)

Next up, the Longhorns clash with the Calera Bulldogs (Calera, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Lone Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 21-2 record after their 51-25 league loss to Caddo (Caddo, OK).
