The McCook Bison (McCook, NE) basketball nipped the visiting Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE), 48-46 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bison (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE). The Bearcats go into the non-league test with a 13-9 record. In their last test, Scottsbluff got by North Platte (North Platte, NE), 47-42, in a non-league test.
