Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD), 47-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Titans travel to Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 15-2. Sioux Falls Christian won 48-43 in their recent league bout against Tri-Valley (Colton, SD)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. More will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 55-22 non-league loss to Crofton (Crofton, NE).
