The Timber Lake Panthers (Timber Lake, SD) basketball knocked off the visiting Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD), 64-52 in Friday's league test.
The Panthers (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Kadoka (Kadoka, SD). The Kougars go into the non-league test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Kadoka notched a victory over Todd County (Mission, SD), 72-43, in a non-league test.
The Irrigators now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to New Underwood for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 13. Newell will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 55-30 non-league loss to Lemmon (Lemmon, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 2-17.
