    The Philip Barbour Colts basketball team (Philippi, WV), was toppled 55-37 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV)

    The Patriots now possess a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buckhannon-Upshur for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. Parkersburg South will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 38-32 league loss to Elkins (Elkins, WV). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-14.

    The Colts (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (Shinnston, WV). The Cougars come into the Big Ten battle with a 11-9 record.
