Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO), 60-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Standley Lake upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Gators host Aurora Central (Aurora, CO) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 2-4.
The Pirates now own a 2-7 record.
