In their next game, the Pioneers face the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) in a game, on Tuesday, February 13. Watauga will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 16-1 record after their 67-34 league win over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC).

With the defeat, Hibriten moves to 0-11 on the year. The Panthers host Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to face the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 13. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 8-11. Alexander Central lost 46-41 in their recent league game against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC)
