North Carolina High School Basketball - James Kenan overwhelmed by North Lenoir

The North Lenoir Hawks basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting James Kenan Tigers to 28 in the Hawks league victory on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Lenoir for a contest on Tuesday, February 13. North Lenoir will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 69-61 league win over East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 15-3.
The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Stallions come into the non-league contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Southwest Onslow triumphed over Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC), 40-38, in a non-league contest.
