Next, the Mustangs confront the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Homestead will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 17-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA).

The Matadors now have a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they host Milpitas for a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino challenge on Wednesday, February 14. Monta Vista will confront a Trojans team coming off a 1-0 league win over Lynbrook (San Jose, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-6.
