In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Washington Demons basketball team scored a close 79-74 triumph over the Williamsburg Raiders.
The Demons (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Burlington (Burlington, IA). The Grayhounds go into the Southeast contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Burlington was nipped by Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA), 69-33, in a non-league outing.
