The Alvord Bulldogs baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Tioga to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Bowie (Bowie, TX). The Jackrabbits go into the non-league match with a 5-0 record.
The (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Lindsay (Lindsay, TX). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Lindsay tipped Sacred Heart (Muenster, TX), 11-4, in a non-league match.
