California High School Baseball - Western loses to Bolsa Grande

The Bolsa Grande Matadors crushed the host Western Pioneers baseball team by a count of 16-8 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Matadors now possess a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rancho Alamitos for a Garden Grove bout on Friday, March 4. Bolsa Grande will face a Vaqueros team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Santa Ana Valley (Santa Ana, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 3-2.

Next, the Pioneers face the Saddleback Roadrunners (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 3. Western will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Roadrunners enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA).
