In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Central Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Brooks Lions.
The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Colbert County (Leighton, AL). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Colbert County was edged by Hatton (Town Creek, AL), 13-11, in a non-league game.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Arab (Arab, AL). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Arab was nipped by Boaz (Boaz, AL), 10-5, in a non-league contest.
