The Floydada Whirlwinds the host Smyer Bobcats baseball team by a count of 9-5 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Whirlwinds now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 3. Floydada will face a Eagles team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Coahoma (Coahoma, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

Next, the Bobcats face the Colorado Wolves (Colorado City, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 4. Smyer will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
