In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Southside Panthers baseball team scored a tight 9-3 victory over the Glencoe Yellowjackets.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Sardis (Boaz, AL). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Sardis tipped Gaston (Gadsden, AL), 22-1, in a non-league game.
