    In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Africentric Early College Nubians basketball team scored a decisive 74-47 triumph over the Elgin Comets.

    In their next game, the Nubians meet the Bishop Ready Silver Knights (Columbus, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 4. Africentric Early College will attempt to move on its 21-5 season record. The Silver Knights enter the match with a 20-3 record after their 55-31 non-league win over Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH).

    With the defeat, Elgin moves to 19-7 on the year.
