In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Basha Bears volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cesar Chavez Champions.
The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ). The Pride come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Mountain Pointe achieved victory over Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
