Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Arborbrook Christian Academy Falcons (Matthews, NC), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions face the Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina challenge, on Monday, March 7. Hickory Grove Christian will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC).

The Falcons now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forest Hills for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 15.
