Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Irmo Yellowjackets (Columbia, SC), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 7. Gilbert will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
The Yellowjackets now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Valley for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Irmo will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-2.
