The Cherokee Christian Warriors held off the host Fideles Christian Rangers soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Georgia-Cumberland Academy for a non-league match on Monday, April 18.
With the loss, Fideles Christian drops to 0-2 on the season. The Rangers host Westminster Christian Academy (Watkinsville, GA) to encounter the Lions in a GAPPS I-AA Region 2 match on Thursday, March 3. The Lions come into the match with a record of 3-0. Westminster Christian Academy won 10-0 in their recent league match against Lanier Christian Academy (Flowery Branch, GA)
