Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Millennium for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Gilbert will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Agua Fria falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Owls host Camelback (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. Camelback won 15-12 in their recent non-league challenge against La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ)
