The McAdory Yellowjackets softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Homewood Patriots to 6 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, McAdory moves its record to 12-4 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Hueytown (Hueytown, AL) to clash with the Golden Gophers in a 6A Area 8 game on Thursday, March 3. The Golden Gophers come into the game with a record of 6-2. Hueytown lost 4-0 in their recent non-league game against Corner (Warrior, AL)

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 3. Homewood will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Mounties come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL).
