The Jasper Vikings softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Lynn Bears to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Jasper moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL) to clash with the Saints in a non-league game on Saturday, March 5. The Saints come into the game with a record of 1-4.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 1. Lynn will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Winston County (Double Springs, AL).
