Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting North Mustangs (Phoenix, AZ), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sunrise Mountain for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 2. Liberty will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, North falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 2. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Tolleson won 15-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ)
