The Chatham Central Bears baseball team (Bear Creek, NC), was tipped 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the host Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC)

The Blue Comets now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwestern Randolph for a non-league outing on Friday, March 3. Asheboro will face a Cougars team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
