The North Stanly Comets baseball team (New London, NC), was tipped 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC)
The Yellow Jackets now hold a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montgomery Central for a non-league outing on Friday, March 3. Forest Hills will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 12-4 non-league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Comets confront the Voyager Vikings (Durham, NC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 4. North Stanly will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC).
