North Carolina High School Baseball - Perquimans loses to Manteo

March 1, 2023: Hertford, NC 27944

The Manteo Redskins crushed the host Perquimans Pirates baseball team by a count of 11-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Redskins now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Northside - Pinetown for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 7. Manteo will face a Panthers team coming off a 12-3 non-league loss to Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.

Next, the Pirates face the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 3. Perquimans will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Aces enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, NC).
