Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN), 55-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Anderson upgrades its record to 20-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN) to play the Marauders in a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. The Marauders come into the bout with a record of 15-8. Mt. Vernon won 62-32 in their recent non-league bout against Muncie Central (Muncie, IN)
