In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Bishop Stang Spartans basketball team scored a good 52-40 triumph over the Montachusett RVT Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Hudson Hawks (Hudson, MA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 3. Bishop Stang will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 12-8 record after their 57-49 non-league loss to Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA).
With the defeat, Montachusett RVT moves to 13-8 on the year.
