Danville Bears (Danville, VT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host West Rutland Golden Horde (West Rutland, VT), 62-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Danville upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Bears travel to Twinfield (Plainfield, VT) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Twinfield won 64-56 in their recent non-league bout against Proctor (Proctor, VT)
