In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Green Mountain Chieftains basketball team scored a good 58-47 triumph over the Randolph Ghosts.
In their next game, the Chieftains face the Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 4. Green Mountain will attempt to move on its 12-9 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 16-0 record after their 96-39 non-league win over Oxbow (Bradford, VT).
With the defeat, Randolph moves to 8-10 on the year.
