The San Gabriel Matadors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Santa Fe Chiefs to 1 in the Matadors non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Matadors now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South El Monte for a non-league game on Friday, March 3. San Gabriel will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.

The Chiefs (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Schurr (Montebello, CA). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Schurr defeated Rosemead (Rosemead, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
