In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Kirby Trojans basketball team scored a good 48-36 triumph over the Alpena Leopards.
In their next game, the Trojans meet the Wonderview Daredevils (Hattieville, AR) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 2. Kirby will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Daredevils enter the match with a 7-5 record after their 49-46 non-league win over Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR).
With the defeat, Alpena moves to 5-9 on the year.
