In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Athens Indians basketball team scored a decisive 52-6 triumph over the Marshall Academy Griffons.
In their next game, the Indians meet the Litchfield Terriers (Litchfield, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 4. Athens will attempt to better on its 17-6 season record. The Terriers enter the match with a 9-10 record after their 28-10 non-league win over Tekonsha (Tekonsha, MI).
With the defeat, Marshall Academy moves to 6-12 on the year.
