Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Columbus Grove Bulldogs (Columbus Grove, OH) and the visiting Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH), saw Columbus Grove's basketball squad knock off Hopewell-Loudon by a count of 40-32.

With the victory, Columbus Grove upgrades its record to 18-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Toledo Christian (Toledo, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 4. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 21-4. Toledo Christian won 50-36 in their recent non-league test against Crestview (Convoy, OH)

The Chieftains now own a 16-8 record.
