Sevier County Smoky Bears (Sevierville, TN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN), 52-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sevier County upgrades its record to 25-6 on the campaign. The Smoky Bears host Heritage (Maryville, TN) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 4. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a record of 21-5. Heritage lost 68-55 in their recent non-league bout against Bearden (Knoxville, TN)

Next up, the Trailblazers play the Bearden Bulldogs (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 4. Daniel Boone will attempt to upgrade on its 25-9 season record.
