Sherman Wildcats (Sherman, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ellicottville Eagles (Ellicottville, NY), 29-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sherman upgrades its record to 16-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Panama (Panama, NY) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 18-4. Panama won 59-47 in their recent non-league bout against Franklinville (Franklinville, NY)
