The Lamar Warriors tipped the visiting Melbourne Bearkatz basketball team by a final score of 57-53 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Warriors face the McGehee Owls (McGehee, AR) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 2. Lamar will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Owls enter the game with a 18-3 record after their 45-30 non-league win over Cossatot River (Cove, AR).
With the defeat, Melbourne moves to 10-7 on the year.
