Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), 54-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lewis County upgrades its record to 19-6 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Ripley (Ripley, WV) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 9. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 19-6. Ripley won 62-27 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV)
