In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Northern Michigan Christian Comets (McBain, MI) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Walkerville Wildcats (Walkerville, MI), by a count of 50-2.
The Comets (11-10) will now prepare for their outing against Catholic Central (Manistee, MI). The Sabers go into the non-league outing with a 18-5 record. In their last outing, Catholic Central smashed Mason County Eastern (Custer, MI), 46-3, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 4-19 record.
