In Wednesday's non-league battle, the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) lacrosse squad routed the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), by a count of 19-11.
Coming up next, the Patriots clash with the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 3. Pinecrest will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 15-12 non-league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC).
The Mustangs now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holly Springs for a Southwest Wake battle on Thursday, March 2.
