The Asheboro Blue Comets baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Chatham Central Bears to 4 in the Blue Comets non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Blue Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Uwharrie Charter was overwhelmed by Central Davidson (Lexington, NC), 6-1, in a non-league match.

The Bears (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Grace Christian (Sanford, NC). The Crusaders go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
