The Porter Ridge Pirates the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres lacrosse team by a score of 14-11 in Wednesday's non-league match.

With the win, Porter Ridge upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC) to play the Raptor in a non-league match on Friday, March 3. The Raptor go into the match with a record of 0-2. Mountain Island Charter lost 9-8 in their recent non-league match against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC)
