In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Philip Simmons Iron Horses soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the Lake City Panthers.
The Iron Horses (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Waccamaw Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC), 1-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Conway Tigers (Conway, SC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 2. Lake City will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 1-1 non-league Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC).
