Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monte Vista for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. Castro Valley will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Albany (Albany, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Tamalpais falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Red tailed hawks host Hercules (Hercules, CA) to battle the Titans in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 0-3.
